Course Description: Laser and Surgical Intervention for Glaucoma have become more standard as first line therapy. This 1-hour lecture will focus on updating the participant in new and emerging technologies for the long-term treatment of glaucoma. Course Description: This course will shed light on the most overlooked structure in the eye as well as provide a comprehensive review of laser vitreolysis for the management of symptomatic vitreous opacities. Emphasis is placed on vitreous anatomy and physiology, historical development of laser vitreolysis, patient symptom correlation, review of peer-reviewed literature, and clinical decision-making.
